“Ruminations” Preorder

Miles uses this debut chapbook to reflect on love, lust, and loneliness. The poems, written over the span of a decade, draw from sources as disparate as 10th century Japanese novelist, Mirasaki Shikibu,  Chilean giant, Pablo Nerdua, and, well, Drake to highlight the absuridity of desire and the inevitability of death. Sometimes sweet, sometimes sickening, these “Ruminations” are the fruit of a mind struggling to make sense through form, rhythm, and language.
